One Unable to stick, not sticky enough

1. The surface roughness of the object being pasted is relatively high (frosted, coarse sand), and a protective film with low viscosity is used, but the viscosity is insufficient

2. The imperfect processing technology during the surface processing of the pasted object leads to oxidation reaction between the material surface and the adhesive film, resulting in the failure of the protective film adhesive layer;

3. Failure to inform and test in advance whether the temperature, humidity, and other conditions of the film environment during surface processing of the object being applied comply with the current protective film. Environmental factors such as temperature and humidity may affect the adhesion of the protective film

Suspend use, contact the relevant person in charge and technical personnel of the protective film manufacturer as soon as possible to inspect and collect samples of materials with problems (including already attached protective films). Our manufacturer will adjust the viscosity and performance of the protective film and match it with a suitable one.


II The attachment is tight and difficult to tear off

1. The surface of the material being pasted is relatively smooth with low roughness, but a protective film with high viscosity is used, which does not match the actual requirements;

2. The surface treatment process of the pasted material is incomplete, or there are residual cleaning agents that have not evaporated completely before applying the film, resulting in chemical reactions between the material surface and the adhesive film;

3. The method of tearing off the film is incorrect, and the tearing technique is rough.

Suspend use, contact the relevant person in charge and technical personnel of the protective film manufacturer as soon as possible to investigate.

If such problems occur after the product has been used by the customer, please ask the customer to slowly tear off the adhesive film at an angle of<90 °, or heat the material attached to the film until it is slightly hot to the touch and can be easily peeled off.

Collect samples of materials with problems (including protective films already attached), and have our manufacturer adjust the viscosity and performance of the protective film to match the appropriate one.


III Residual glue, fogging, precipitation, etc

1. There may be stains and liquid residues on the surface of the material being pasted during processing. Applying protective film without cleaning the surface thoroughly may be mistaken for glue peeling or residue

If such problems occur after the product has been used by the customer, it is not advisable to continue tearing off the adhesive film at the peeling point. Instead, it should be slowly peeled off from the intact area to reduce the detachment of the adhesive surface. The residue on the surface of the pasted material can be gently wiped with a small cloth dipped in a small amount of commonly used ethyl ester or specialized adhesive remover on the market, to help restore the original appearance of the product. Attention should be paid to whether the debonding agent undergoes oxidation reaction with the material surface. If a reaction occurs, please suspend the use of the debonding agent and dispatch professional technicians to the site for investigation.

The customer needs to collect and send back samples of the materials with problems (including the protective film already attached), and our manufacturer will adjust the viscosity and performance of the protective film to match a new and suitable one.

4 Insufficient toughness, easy to fracture/too high toughness, continuous cutting

When using, we did not inform and test in advance what processing steps are required for the surface of the object being pasted, the required toughness and thickness of the protective film during processing, the high ductility required for bending processing, and the low toughness protective film required for punching and cutting processing. The customer needs to collect and send back samples of the pasted material with problems (including the already pasted protective film), and our protective film manufacturer will adjust the viscosity and performance of the protective film to match a new and suitable protective film.
